Ok so I admit I had to look up effulgence. I loved the sound of the word, and I make no disclaimers of embarrassment for that. I think part of the joy of reading, writing or just being involved with words is that sometimes they can sound as good as they mean. Sometimes a word can just communicate the meaning through the way it sounds, especially when it's interwoven so beautifully into the tapestry of the sentence.
