Tech-art in the modern world.

Naiza H Khan talks about the fluxist movement which encouraged experiencing life and art together, in an everyday kind of way. Electronic and tech-inspired art really allows that today. Of course its linked to the commercial world very intricately too. But what we mean is the sheer accessibility of recording life (camera phones, digital cameras, etc.) and sharing it (internet, blogs, facebook), which is one very integral aspect of art.

Its interesting though, because this process has become so mainstream in itself in this day and age. It has patronage by cell phone companies and social websites. Originally, the every-dayness of art was something that was performed in a very low-tech, avante-garde space.
